Install and pin the ShareGate end-user app in your organization's Microsoft Teams to make it available for all your users.
To ensure your users are using your team templates, we recommend that you pin the ShareGate end-user app to the Teams sidebar for all your users.

Prerequisites
- A global admin has consented ShareGate on your tenant.
- All the required permissions have been granted.
Install and pin ShareGate's end-user app for all your users.
Tip: Banners to install and pin the app will appear on the Provisioning page, you can click on the Install app button, and ShareGate will install the end-user app and bring you to the Teams admin center so you can review the permissions. Once the installation is complete, you can click on Pin the app in the banner on the Provisioning page, and ShareGate will take you to the Setup policies page in your Teams admin center. From there, follow the steps to Pin the ShareGate end-user app for all users (3) below.
1. Install the ShareGate end-user app
- Sign in to your Microsoft Teams admin center as a global admin.
- Expand Teams apps in the menu.
- Select Setup policies.
- Click Global (Org-wide default).
- Click
- Use the Search by name field to find the ShareGate end-user app.
- Hover your cursor over the ShareGate app in the dropdown.

2. Accept the permissions for the ShareGate end-user app
- Click
- Select your global admin account.
- Click
3. Pin the ShareGate end-user app for all users
- Select Setup policies under Teams apps in the Teams admin center menu.
- Under Pinned apps, select +Add apps.
- Use the Search by name field to find the ShareGate end-user app.
- Click

to confirm your action.
- Drag and drop the ShareGate end-user app to the desired position in the Microsoft Teams menu.

Note: An org-wide setup policy can take several hours to appear for your end users.
