Your tenant activity log gives you visibility on activities taking place in your tenant.
Select Activity to view your tenant activity log.
Choose between your tenant's Teams or All Groups and apply filters to find exactly what you're looking for. Export the Activity log report as a CSV file so you can review the data in more detail.
The activity log
Activity history is maintained as of your first connection to ShareGate.
The activity log will display up to 5000 activities at one time, sorted by date (the most recent changes are shown at the top).
Tip: Filters can help you find specific activities in your activity log. For example, find actions made by a specific user, tasks performed within a date range, or by the type of activity. For more information, check out Filter the activity log.
The person who performed the activity and the team or group involved are shown for most activities. Depending on the activity, this person may be a team or group owner or an IT admin with ShareGate access.
To access the information of any team or group, select the row and the team and group details will open.
The activities listed in your tenant activity log can include:
|Manual actions done to teams and groups using ShareGate.||Tasks you perform from Manage or the team and group details.|
|The automated activities you have set up with ShareGate.||The status of your policies and how owners respond.|
|Certain activities done in Microsoft 365.||When you delete or restore a team.|
|Certain activities performed in Microsoft Teams.||If a new team is created or when an existing team name changes.|

Export as a report
The Activity log report gives you more details on the activities happening in your tenant. Filter and customize the information to be exported, then save the report to your workstation as a CSV file.
